Dresscode Formalwear Returns Policy

We hope that you’ll be delighted with everything you buy from us. However, we know that it might not always be the case. If you’re unhappy with your new item(s) for any reason and do not wish to exchange them, then you can return the item(s) to us for a refund. Our Returns Policy is outlined here.

If you need to return the purchased products please do remember that you have an obligation to take reasonable care of the products while you have them. Here are our guidelines:

  • For orders delivered to UK addresses you have 14 days from the receipt of goods to return your items to us in order to receive a refund.
  • You can open the packaging to look at and try on the products as you would in any store
  • Don’t try on products whilst wearing strong perfume, aftershave or a deodorant that may leave a scent or marks
  • Ensure that the item(s) you are returning is in an unused condition and has all labels attached. Please ensure that it is returned in the condition in which you received it, otherwise a nominal charge may be levied and we may not be able to process your exchange / return.
  • If purchasing shoes, do not wear shoes outside; no scuffing should appear on the soles.
  • Return item(s) in the original packaging.
  • Dresscode Formalwear does not cover the cost of your returns.
  • We reserve the right not to refund you if you return items to us outside the terms of our Returns Policy. Your statutory rights do not apply. Such items may be returned to you at your expense. You will be notified of the applicable charges. If you send the item back to us again, or refuse to accept delivery, this will be deemed to be irreversible authority for us to dispose of your goods without further notice. Disposal will not constitute any admission on our part that we have failed in any way to honour our obligations to you in full and will not constitute any unlawful action against the goods.
  • When making a Return you must ensure you provide us with your full details. Please include your original invoice when returning your order. Failure to do so may cause delays in processing your return.
  • If you wish to return your item(s) we advise you do so via recorded delivery. This will ensure that your order reaches us safely and if it does get lost it can be traced and we can process your refund/exchange.

However if you do choose to use a standard service which may mean your order cannot be tracked we cannot be held responsible for your lost order, therefore we will be unable to process your claim.

  • When the returned item(s) arrives at our warehouse we will refund your money within 10 days thereafter.
  • If the product is returned because it is defective, not the one you ordered or within 7 days under the UK Distance selling Regulation, then we will issue a full refund including the delivery charge after our inspection has taken place. In all other cases refunds will be made after Delivery Charges have been deducted.

Dresscode Formalwear reserves the right to refuse any returns that are not fit for resale. This does not affect your statutory rights.
